The Earl of Southampton Trust is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Sarah and Tom as beneficiaries of the charity. The couple has moved into one of our two-bedroom almshouses, securing a new chapter in their lives.
When the Earl of Southampton Trust Almshouse became available, it was fully redecorated to ensure a fresh and welcoming home for the family. One of the most exciting features of their new home is the large garden—something they have never had before. They are looking forward to tending to it and making it their own.
Speaking about their new home, Sarah expressed her delight, saying,
“We are so very grateful that we have been appointed to the almshouse. This has really benefited our growing family, and my Nan who also lives in the village. It feels like we have won the housing lottery.”
Beneficiaries of the Trust are appointed under a licence agreement and contribute towards maintenance costs by paying a maintenance contribution in line with the local housing allowance. The Trust remains committed to providing quality housing and support to those in need within the Ancient Parish of Titchfield.
We wish Sarah and Tom every happiness in their new home!
